The menu impresses with its delightful variety, offering something for every palate while maintaining a focus on fresh, homemade goodness. Picture biting into a soft, freshly baked granary roll generously filled with two smoky rashers of back bacon in their classic Bacon Breakfast Roll (£4.25), or savoring the vibrantly spiced, wholesome Homemade Vegan Coronation Chickpea Sandwich—a standout option for plant-based diners. The all-day breakfast rolls, including the equally satisfying Sausage and Vegan Sausage Breakfast Rolls, set the tone for a hearty, comforting experience.
For a light, nutritious option, the Granola Yoghurt Pot topped with fresh berries is a refreshing choice, while the Homemade Quiche Salad Box offers a perfect balance of creamy richness and garden-fresh crunch. Feel the warmth of the Split Pea Soup on a cooler day—a humble, soothing bowl that comforts and revitalizes.
The cafe’s more indulgent treats don’t disappoint either. The sticky Teriyaki Chicken tantalizes with its glossy, sweet-savory glaze, and the Cinnamon Roll practically melts in your mouth with its warm, spiced sweetness. For those craving something cool and refreshing, the Iced Coffee—served with optional drizzle and cream—is a delightful pick-me-up, while homemade cakes and vegan mixed berry muffins make spontaneous visits all the more tempting.
Regulars rave about the friendly staff and great value, especially the combo deals like a sausage or bacon roll with a hot drink for just £5.50. Seating options abound, with cozy indoor spaces and outdoor tables where you can enjoy the charming views of Hadleigh Park. Lovely large cafe. Dine in or takeaway to outside seating areas being able to watch the dog or children outside from inside or outside seating is great. Dog watering and treats available as well as some healthy choices
Little cafe that serves a variety of snacks, breakfast (rolls), snacks, hot food. Staff are friendly and prices not bad either. Note its always paid parking. You can get a sausage or bacon roll and a hot drink for £5.50!
Didn't eat at the venue, but hot snacks, drinks etc available, plenty of tracks to walk/cycle around. A cycle shop for bikes, accessories and repairs. Easy to lose track of time.
Great value and selection of food. I had a lovely chicken salad and my kids always enjoy the sausage and chips.
Got to the cafe, not much left to eat. Seating outside and inside. Great views made up for it
This is a nice little cafe, food is good but not anything special, coffee is good for a non brand coffee shop. There is plenty of parking and the staff seem happy and helpful. It’s very busy on Saturday which is park run day.
A beautiful place to visit and explore. I've been to the hub many times and always found there to be plenty of seating, both indoor and out. Well behaved dogs are allowed inside the cafe. There is a great children's playground and you are able to hire a bike if you want to try out the track. Things to consider are the extortionate cost to park - £3 for the first hour, £4.20 for two hours. There are also no concessions, although if you're a frequent visitor you can buy an annual parking pass. The bike hire was also fairly expensive at £14 for an hour plus and extra £1 to hire a helmet.
